#CountrCrush and Eunoia Serum Owner Emily, On Sustainability and Style.
How did you get into blogging? How has your style evolved over the years?
I started a real blog when I was probably 13 and then I just fell head first into the fashion and beauty world and never looked back. I’ve learned to not conform the “trends”. I’ve also become more minimalistic but my style is definitely stronger and I feel much more confident in what I wear now. I think it’s all about how you feel.
Your friends come to you for:
Fashion advice. Glossier advice. Ever since my families trip to NYC where I dragged them to the Glossier Showroom they can’t get enough. My friends also always ask me about fashion and I have so much fun enlightening them about fast fashion now.
Do you have any spring cleaning plans?
I actually just cleared out my whole closet and sent like 5 boxes to ThredUp. I would say to just go through everything you have and ask yourself if you really need to. Just make sure you are disposing of it responsibly. Send you clothes to ThredUP or For Days, not Goodwill or the trash.
What’s your shopping superpower?
I’m a pro at online shopping. I can’t even remember the last time I went to the mall. I know what I like and and know what will look good on me. Plus I always find the best deals. Ebates and Honey are my best friends.
What is your favorite item you own?
This is really hard. Ok so it may not be like my absolute favorite but it was the first thing that came to mind and I love it. My flower necklaces from Emily Levine are my favorite jewelry pieces I own. They are super unique and I always get compliments on them!

What’s next on your shopping list? One item you’re dying to get?
I’m dying to buy some workout clothes from Girlfriend Collective. Their items are made from recycled water bottles which is so amazing. I haven’t decided which color I’m going for yet, they are all so good!
If you had to choose only one product to use for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I wanted to say Cloud Paint from Glossier but then I remembered SPF. Glossier’s Invisible Shield is my favorite sunscreen out there and the sun is super dangerous so this would keep me looking ageless.
What do you do to unwind? Do you have any self-care tips that always help you?
Skincare and Netflix are my way of unwinding. I’ll throw on my favorite mask and just chill.
